Ideal for those who care for pets and animals. A business card featuring the Whitethroated American Toucan in a Vintage Watercolor

Beautiful Semipalmated Plover at the Beach
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! I missed seeing one of these tiny plovers in the summer, but my subject, in its non-breeding plumage, is no less beautiful for it! A rare sight for this time of the year (usually these dainty-looking shorebirds are already wintering along the coasts of the Southwestern , Central America, and South America), this Semipalmated Plover was frequenting the shores of Boundary Bay at Centennial Beach during high tide, in (almost) mid-December, along with a flock of Dunlins and Sanderlings on a surprisingly sunny (and warm-for-almost-winter) day.

Cute Chestnut-Backed Chickadee on the Pear Tree
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! A dark, overcast day lends a painting-like effect to my photo of this Chestnut-Backed Chickadee, who was perched on one of the fruit trees in our backyard and in no particular hurry to nab a seed from the hanging feeding stations.

Curious American Robin Songbird in the Grass
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! It’s always a wonderful moment when our subjects seek us out instead of the other way around! A particularly bold American Robin approaches our picnic table to stare at us — perhaps he was hoping that we had worms or berries with us?

American Robin the Winter Grass
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! American Robins are bold, year round residents in Metro Vancouver, and have a reputation for putting up with humans — even if the latter are not carrying something tasty on their persons! This fellow had success in rounding up a lunchtime worm or two in Surrey’s Green Timbers Park on a cold day in February . Based on the original photography of Sim. All Rights Reserved. See more at

Flight of the Short-Eared Owl
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! One of three Short-Eared Owls we saw hunting at Boundary Bay Wildlife Management Area on a winter afternoon. Not the first time I’ve seen a Shortie, but it is the closest I have come to photographing one. Ironically, it did fly within feet of my camera, but my long lens had problems focusing on it at such close range! Based on the original photography of Sim. All Rights Reserved. See more at

Funny Cute 4 Sanderlings Sandpipers at the Beach
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! Hanging with my peeps! Despite the Sanderlings probing the shoreline, getting a group photo of this high-energy flock (which was soon joined by another flock of Sanderlings) in action was a bit difficult (imagine kindergarten-aged children running amok all over the place); shots of bills submerged in water as well as feathered butts pointed in my direction were the norm. Cute Hopeful Black-Capped Chickadee Songbird
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! A hungry Black-Capped Chickadee looks longingly at the food presented in two different hands, and wonders if it should go for sunflower seeds from hand A or hand B. Decisions, decisions.

Acrylic Keychain Case
This stunning artwork features a male and female pair of cardinals perched delicately on a flowering wild almond branch. Captured in Plate of John James Audubon’s Birds of America series, this timeless vintage print showcases the brilliant red plumage of the male cardinal with his bold black mask, while the more subtly colored female boasts soft red markings that blend beautifully into her surroundings. One of the most beloved and recognizable birds, the Northern Cardinal is the official state bird of seven eastern states—Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia. Abundant in the Southeast, these vibrant songbirds have expanded their range northward into southeastern Canada, often brightening snowy winter landscapes with their striking crimson feathers and clear whistled songs. They are also locally common in the desert Southwest and have been introduced to Hawaii, southern California, and Bermuda, where they thrive. Cardinals are often seen as symbols of hope, joy, and faith, especially during difficult times. American folklore tells us that a cardinal’s presence is a reminder from God that He is with us, watching over us, and that there is life beyond this world in the kingdom of heaven. This unique spiritual symbolism makes the cardinal a cherished and meaningful bird to many. With its vibrant red male and graceful female perched among delicate blooms, this artwork is a perfect gift for bird lovers, bird watchers, and nature enthusiasts. Whether displayed as wall decor or shared as a thoughtful postcard, this vintage Audubon print brings timeless beauty and a sense of peace to any setting.

American Robin with a Pyracantha Pomme
Say goodbye to boring and get noticed with these double-sided, wildlife-themed business cards! The early blooming pyracantha bush has proven to be very popular with a number of fall and winter birds, including this American Robin. Earlier this fall, I spotted six of these thrushes feasting away at the same time! My subject didn’t need to share the pommes with another feathered friend, and didn’t budge when I had the lens pointed her way from the front door. In fact, she continued to enjoy the bright red berries for a few moments more.
